Birthday Celebratrions

So here it is, 32, another year older huh?

Life changes so fast that sometimes we don’t even see the turns coming until they are already upon us. Birthdays can bring a lot of emotions, positive and negative and I have been on both sides in the past. But this year is definitely positive, I have made so much personal growth in the past year and I feel like celebrating my wins is important I also have so many plans and adventures for the coming year and am excited for what this next chapter of my life will bring

I had a low-key but still really fun day; I had to get up early ( ew) but when I was up I made myself a birthday breakfast of mushrooms on toast and chilled out, I had a Notif on my Steam account and found my Girlfriend had sent me some games as a gift as a surprise alongside her other present for me she is such a darling and always spoils me with the sweetest things.

One of the games that she got me was called Videoverse which she chose because she knows I had been really enjoying Hypnospace outlaw ( Which I need to finish) and that Videoverse had themes around older media and online connections.

Its no surprise that I ended up playing this game with her later in the day, I Really enjoyed the Game but need to go in for another play through to see how some of the other choices that you can make pan out. There was a side character in the game with the username Fluffy-Pancake that I really related to as a fellow disabled Gamer so I was excited to get that rep in the game and was even more hyped when she had the same condition as me. I plan on contacting the Devs because it honestly made my day

One of my major hyperfixations in the past few months (alongside this website project and 90s web) has been a rekindled love of physical media – cant find that song, movie, show you love on streaming services, Pull out the CD, MP3 player, DVD, Blueray, VHS and watch it to your hearts content. And most of my family know that this is what I have been really into lately so my gifts from my family mostly revolved around that a wonderful myriad of second hand DVDS and CDs ( and a couple of new ones too)

Which made for the perfect birthday date night!

My girlfriend and I ordered in a Chinese takeaway and rediscovered old classics, from a comedy stand up I had loved in my teens, to old episodes of futurama ( How did season 4 come out in 2002! That is like 22 years ago yikes!) to the matrix trilogy – I had only seen the 1st one growing up shocking I know pretty sure I had that one on VHS at some point.

Honestly it wasn’t much but I was exhausted after this and felt a energy crash coming on so we had some birthday cake ( It was mermaid themed) and then crashed out asleep by like 8pm – which is unheard of for me. I did then wake up at 1am dehydrated and disorientated to my Meowing kitty Momo ( The websites namesake) she was hungry and demanding food and cuddles and then quickly crashed back into bed

Today I was in a flare up so had to stay in bed, my girlfriend put on movies, Today was Cloudy with a chance of meatballs [this movie may be cheesy as hell but when we first started dating I had gotten sick and was delirious on the sofa while this film came on the TV so this little film has taken on its own little place of love in my heart]

Hoping to rest up and be recovered by tomorrow because Friday is games night!!

P.s I noticed they have reverted the editor to the old version!
I am sad to lose the auto fill as that was so useful, but very glad to have my colour theme back and the annoying floating sidebar removed - its funny because i saw most people complaing that the auto fill was annoying
